The talking spider that Hagrid raised as a pet during his Hogwarts years. Eventually, after almost fifty years, this spider named Aragog grew into gigantic size, then beginning a very large family of other spiders. These giants now live in the Forbidden Forest.
The one-time Quidditch player. Mr. Bagman likes to gamble and particularly favors that Harry will win the triwizard Cup in the Tournament, being held at Hogwarts. He placed a bet with a bunch of Goblins that he would be right, but he became unsure as the Tournament went on. He's very sneaky and not always as kind and friendly as he may seem to anyone.

Barty Crouch, Sr.
Mr. Crouch is the man who runs Percy Weasley's department at the Ministry of Magic. He's a middle-aged, impatient man who has no time to waste on anything...he also has a deep, dark secret that no one else knows. Crouch knew he wasn't a good father, his son Barty Crouch, Jr. hated him so much, that he was later killed by him. Crouch wasn't a decent person since was deceived people at times.
Barty Crouch, Jr.
Crouch, Jr. hated his father, who had the same name as him. Following in Voldemort's footsteps, he killed his father because he greatly disliked him for a number of reasons. Like Voldemort, they were both given the same name as their father and that was a mark, that they could not wipe away. Crouch, Jr. had later been discovered in disguise at Hogwarts, as Alastor Mad-Eye Moody. He had concealed the real Moody in a seven-lock trunk in his room for an entire year.
The greatly fearful and hated guards of Azkaban, the wizard prison. Their real forms, if they have one, has never been seen before because they hide under the dark robes they wear. The Dementor's Kiss is something that many fear. It is something that they do to kill a criminal. After Sirius Black escaped, the Dementors went to Hogwarts and stayed guard there, searching for Black. Right when they found Black, Harry created a powerful Patronus that repelled them away.
The first crush of Ron Weasley. This French Beauxbatons student has arrived, along with the rest of her school to compete in the Triwizard Tournament. Her beautiful appearance seems to resemble that, of a veela, a creature that can hypnotize anyone by their grace and beauty. To Ron, she is like an angel, that he's too afraid to ask to the Yule Ball.
The only Hufflepuff student to participate in the triwizard Tournament, his fame has grown to a great status. His great talent and skills in his Quidditch team come in handy in the Tournament and his popularity has grown even more with the girls. Sadly, his life came to an end when he was tricked and killed. Hogwarts has never been the same before.

The only child and son to Vernon and Petunia Dursley. This plump little boy is also Harry's cousin, whom he likes to pick on. Dudley is greatly favored by his parents over Harry, considering that he's not a wizard, and spoiled rotten as well.

Mr. Dursley is a large man, like his son and owns his own drilling company, which is known as Grunnings in the muggle world. He positively hates anything that has to do with magic, for he finds anyone involved with it to be greatly abnormal.
Vernon Durley's sister. After insulting Harry's parents before his third year, Harry inadvertently caused her to physically swell up and... fly away.
This group of people are Death Eaters, which are what you call followers of Lord Voldemort. They hide in the shadows and now continue to assist Voldemort, for he had risen again, in Harry Potter's fourth year at Hogwarts. Many of these Death Eaters still respect the Dark Lord. A few flee in fear of their life and his dark power. Others are already killed by his service. Three of these Death Eaters who returned to his service are Lucius Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle. The parents of Draco Malfoy and his friends, Crabbe and Goyle.
Fawkes is Professor Dumbledore's red phoenix, who stays in his office on top a perch. He has proved his worthiness by assisting Harry during the face-off with Riddle. When Fawkes cries, his tears magically heal the wounds of a person, for instance, Harry's cut arm.
The old Hogwarts school caretaker. He doesn't like his job or any of the school students either. You must be careful whenever seeing him. Do something wrong or make him mad, he'll make your life a nightmare, for a temporary time at least. Just ask Ron Weasley! His black cat, Mrs. Norris is his only friend.
This very tiny Professor of Charms at Hogwarts uses a stool to see over his desk in class! Flitwick is also somewhat odd in some ways that only students can see. He's very kind, and is greatly honored to have the Harry Potter in his Charms class.
The shop owner of Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor, located tentatively in Diagon Alley.
Currently the Minister of Magic in the wizarding world, he took this position when Dumbledore refused to take it and stayed at Hogwarts, instead. From time-to-time, Fudge can seem to be a "traitor", or irritating, but that's sometimes out of his responsibilities as a Minister of Magic. They still remain to be friends.
Another one of Draco Malfoy's larger and chubby friends, he also hangs along side Crabbe as if Malfoy's own bodyguards. He usually takes orders from Malfoy, if not, then he becomes "lost".

Harry's faithful snow owl. Hedwig is the first owl that Harry's ever had. She's one of the greatest owls there ever was, and the most different, since most others aren't snow-colored owls. But that doesn't matter, as long as she has Harry by her side. She might not get to sleep often, due to Harry's constant mail, but she always gets the job done and always comes back to Harry, with affection.
One of Fred and George's best friends. Lee Jordan is also a Gryffindor student and the commentor for all Quidditch games held at Hogwarts. Professor McGonagall often looks over his shoulder, as he commentates, since he does tend to get off the subject at times!
A Ministry worker until her mysterious disappearance and subsequent death before Harry's fourth year began. She was kidnapped by Peter Pettigrew and questioned by Voldemort for details on the upcoming Triwizard Tournament.

This famed, Bulgarian Durmstrang student, is one of the lucky four triwizard Tournament contestants. He and his school have journeyed, like Beauxbatons, to compete in the triwizard Tournament. Also a pro in the game of Quidditch, he may teach the others a thing or two about the game and relationships as well- being famous always makes it easier to be appealing to girls.

Another friend giant, herself, Madame Maxime is the headmistress of Beauxbatons, which is yet another wizarding school. Speaking with a French accent, she arrives at Hogwarts for the triwizard Tournament with her students. Hagrid has taken interest in her, considering that there aren't very many giants like himself and Madame Maxime is somewhat fond of him too.

The resident ghost of Gryffindor House, Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpingtonis his real name. He's somewhat depressed at times, since he misses his life as a real person; he wants to eat! He'll hang around sometimes and might accidentally give you a scare in the night, but he's a nice ghost.

A member of the Griffindor house at Hogwarts. She's also one of the students who hang out with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. She sticks for her friends, when the time comes and she always tries to have high-spirits as well. Parvati is also the girl that Harry asked to the Yule Ball in their fourth year, and she indeed, looked pretty to Harry.
Peeves the Poltergeist stalks kids around the school, making fun of anything and everything he can. He'll hang around you or hover over crowds of people, throwing objects. He'll bother everyone and he just won't go away. The only thing that could temporarily shut him up is The Bloody Baron, the Slytherin House ghost. Peeves is just a dumb ghost with the wrong sense of humor.

The librarian at the very large library at Hogwarts. She's been known to be strict and suspicious of everyone, possibly because of her elderly age? To make sure books are returned on time, she places spells on them, which is a sure-fire way to get them back.

Hogwarts Professor of Herbology. Her class is also considered by most students to be one of the most boring and maybe worst classes, ever, right next to Potions and History of Magic at least. In Herbology, it's a hassle to get anything done, since madness is everywhere, in plants! Professor Sprout puts up with it but not a contagious plant rash.

The oldest Weasley child, Bill Weasley worked at a Gringotts bank, in Egypt. He and Charlie are almost built the same and he was also Head Boy when at Hogwarts. A grown-up version of Percy would be a better description.
As the second oldest Weasley child, and graduated from Hogwarts as well, Charlie worked with dragons in Romania. He's a lot like his younger siblings, although he's much more matured, of course.
Fred and George Weasley
The Weasley twins, as they are commonly known as, besides their real names. Fred and George enjoy cracking jokes around anytime of the day and driving teachers crazy, when needed. Besides getting into loads of mischief, they are very friendly brothers who are both Beaters on the Gryffindor Quidditch team.
Being Ron's shy younger sister, Ginny, became not only a first year at Hogwarts but also the Heir of Slytherin. Actually, she was more like a victim of a memory of Voldemort, in the form of a his younger self, Tom Riddle. Ginny goes bright red whenever she comes around Harry and is assumed by many people to be Harry's biggest fan.
The father of the seven Weasely children; Bill, Charles, Fred, George, Percy, Ron, and Ginny. They're a bunch to handle, especially Fred and George, but if needed to, the entire Weasley family bands together and helps others. Mr. Weasley works for the Ministry of Magic and is an average husband and dad for his family. He may loose his temper at times, but that's only if some intolerable person irritates him.
Wife of Arthur Weasley and mother to their seven children, Mrs. Weasley is a kind person, just like her husband. She cares for all her children, especially Harry, even though he's not a Weasley. She always sends her kids Christmas presents and Harry too, when they stay at Hogwarts for the Holidays. It's tough out in the Muggle and Wizarding world, but just like Harry, Ron, and Hermoine, the Weasleys always find a way to help each other.
Percy is the third oldest brother. He became the Prefect and eventually Headboy in Book 3. He also hopes to one day work for the Ministry of Magic, just like his father. Pride, he has.

Winky, a house-elf, like Dobby, except female, belongs to Barth Crouch, who is a very important person working for the Ministry of Magic. Sometimes clumsy yet loyal, like Dobby, Winky obeys her master, but fears being unloyal. Her first appearance was in The Goblet of Fire, where she was introduced to Harry and the others. She works hard and enjoys her life, even though other house-elves, like her, are considered to be "slaves", according to Hermoine.
